More than 15 stops all around the world are part of the FWQ. In these events tomorrow's freeride stars will have the opportunity to earn ranking points to access the Freeride World Tour.Four of the FWQ events are called “sister events” and are directly linked to a FWT contest. The winner of each category of a sister event is automatically qualified for the upcoming FWT contest.
The FWQ events give points to:
1. any rider willing to qualify for a FWT;
2. FWT riders willing to score points in order to remain within the FWT.
While these events are independently organized they all have in common the fact that:
1. They are part and use the unique and exclusive ranking system of the FWT = The Freeride World Ranking (FWR);
2. They use the same judging method as the FWT;
3. They reached a certain quality level in terms of organization, communication, competition format, competition site, security and hospitality for the riders and benefit from the experience of the FWT and its advisor.
